Product Introduction
Bakelite sheets, also known as phenolic laminate or phenolic paper laminate, are manufactured from high-quality bleached wood pulp paper and cotton linter paper as reinforcement materials, combined with high-purity, fully synthetic petrochemical-based phenolic resin as the resin adhesive. During the manufacturing process, Bakelite sheets are created by impregnating insulation paper with phenolic resin, followed by baking and hot pressing. They have a specific gravity of 1.45 and a warpage of ≤0.3%. At room temperature, they offer excellent electrical properties and machinability. These materials have a wide range of applications, including as insulating structural components in machinery, motors, and electrical devices, and can also be used for making PCB drilling, silicone rubber molds, jigs, and distribution boards, among others.
